Hi Cathy, I am very proud to tell you that Rosie has met the requirements to get AKC recognition as a Therapy Dog!!!!  This coming Sat., I will receive the signed paperwork that authenticates Rosie’s 50+ visits to Easton Elementary School.  I have filled out the AKC application, & will send to AKC next week. We visited EES today, & Rosie ran down the hallway to the 1st classroom!  We had a major breakthrough with one of the children. Then, Rosie helped me clean stalls.  After that, she had a ball running with sheep & goats!  (She was on the outside of the fence!) Now- she is sleeping.  I love her Soooooooo much! Hugs- B

Rosie made the front page of the local newpaper:  I dressed Rosie in her Easter Egg Hunt outfit.  It needed alterations!  Rosie is invited to Easton Elementary School on Wednesday, to look for treats with the children in ‘her’ classes.  I’m not sure if I can convince Rosie to keep her hat on!  At least, she can wear her holiday dress.  Rosie picked out a ‘Hello Kitty’ basket.

Rosie has sent me a Coffee Table book filled with photos of her listening to the kids read and a calendar with her therapy work! Scans of them are included in her page.

Rosie & I had an incredible visit at school today.  Several huge breakthroughs.  Barriers broken.  2 girls, originally frightened by Rosie, petted & hugged her.  Also, a teacher’s aide, attacked by a dog when she was a child, petted Rosie for the 1st time.  She said that Rosie had a calming affect on her, & she trusted Rosie. Also, one of the teachers had a surprise for us!  She created a video; using photos from the school year; accompanied by a beautiful song about autism.  There were many photos of Rosie & me.  Very emotional.  I will get a DVD next week.  I will have to copy & send, or figure out if I can send it in a file. So many wonderful times with Rosie!
